Dr. Chetan Shah is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.  He treats both children and adults.  His special interests lie in medical as well as surgical management of Chronic Sinusitis (specializing in functional endoscopic sinus surgery without the need for packing the nose with gauze), vertigo / dizziness and balance disorders as well as hearing loss. Dr. Shah is highly referred by most of the local pediatricians in Mercer County for tonsil removal and placement of tubes in the ears for chronic ears infections in children.  

Dr. Shah received his Bachelor’s degree as well as Medical Degree in a six year combined BA / MD program with Rutgers and Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey and then went on to UMDNJ - Newark for his surgical training.  

Dr. Shah is also the co-author of several journal articles and he has presented this work at national ENT conferences.

Dr. Shah has been consistently ranked in New Jersey Monthly as a Top Doctor in 2012, 2013 and 2014. The rankings are awarded based on recommendations from physicians and health care professionals in all specialties.

A graduate of NJIT with an electrical engineering and a pre-med at Rutgers University, Rakesh B. Patel, M.D. went on to the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) – New Jersey Medical School.  Dr. Patel completed his Post-Doctoral training as Chief Resident in 

Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (OHNS) at UMDNJ.  He completed a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeryaccredited by the AAFPRS.  Dr. Patel is double board certified by both the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (2003-2013) and the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery as well as being a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

As a result of his many years of training, he was personally selected for the coveted position as Director of Facial Plastic andReconstructive Surgery training for the Montefiore Residency Program (OHNS) in New York (2002-2005), and for the Otolaryngology department at UMDNJ (2008-2009).  Dr. Patel’s technical expertise and innovations in facial cosmesis earned him the 2005 and 2009 Teacher of the Year award from both universities residency programs.

Dr. Samir Undavia is fellowship trained and double board certified in both Facial Plastic Surgery and Otolaryngology. He provides comprehensive ear, nose and throat care and is an expert in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. 

Dr. Undavia earned his medical degree from New York Medical College.  He then completed a residency in Otolaryngology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, where he was elected Administrative Chief Resident and awarded Resident Teacher of the Year.  He then completed a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the world-renowned Texas Medical Center at the University of Texas in Houston.  During this time he focused exclusively on cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and neck, with additional emphasis on primary and revision rhinoplasty.

Dr. Undavia has published numerous articles in peer reviewed scientific journals.  Recently, he has published on the closure of septal perforations, and on the deprojections of the nasal tip in revision rhinoplasty.  He has also contributed to educational publications, and has presented his work nationally.  Dr. Undavia was recently honored with an Exemplary Teaching Attending Award in the Department of Internal Medicine at Capital Health.

After having practiced in South Jersey since 1989, Dean Drezner, MD is pleased to have joined Princeton Eye & Ear. The scope of his practice includes adult and pediatric ear, nose and throat care, head and neck cancer surgery, thyroid surgery, sinus surgery, as well as evaluation and treatment of hearing loss, tinnitus, hoarseness and swallowing disorders. He has worked in the private and academic practice settings and was head of the division of Otolaryngology at Cooper Health System. Dean Drezner, MD is board certified and has been named a "Top Doc" by US News and World Report and in Philadelphia Magazine and in South Jersey Magazine numerous times.

Dr. Drezner has a particular interest in thyroid surgery and patients with persistent or recalcitrant symptoms such as postnasal drip, unsteadiness and lump in the throat sensation. He looks forward to helping all of his patients.

Dr. Gregory Smith is an Otolaryngologist providing comprehensive ENT care for both the pediatric and adult populations.  He currently serves the communities of Lawrenceville, Freehold and Plainsboro, NJ while maintaining affiliations with the Capital Health System, CentraState Medical Center, Princeton University Hospital in Plainsboro, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton, and St. Francis Medical Center.  Dr. Smith’s clinical interests include general otolaryngology, pediatrics, rhinology & allergy, laryngology, thyroid & parathyroid surgery, and head & neck cancers. 

Dr. Smith received his Masters of Science and Medical Degree from the Drexel University College of Medicine where he was elected as a member to the prestigious honor medical society, Alpha Omega Alpha.  He then completed a residency in Otolaryngology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.  He currently is an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.   

Dr. Smith has authored multiple journal articles and textbook chapters and presented his work at national ENT conferences.   He is active in medical missions including the World Pediatric Project which delivers high quality pediatric ENT and facial plastic care to underdeveloped areas across the world.  He looks forward to serving the community and treating his patients with the highest level of care.

Dr. Nishant Reddy is an otolaryngologist specializing in the medical and surgical management of various diseases of the head and neck including nose and sinus disorders, thyroid and parathyroid disorders, ear infections, dizziness, voice and swallowing disorders, throat infections, sleep apnea, allergies, salivary gland disorders, and head and neck cancer. He treats both pediatric and adult patients. He has a special interest in nose and sinus surgery, and also performs minimally-invasive balloon sinuplasty that can be done in the office.

Dr. Reddy completed an accelerated B.A./M.D. program at Lehigh University. He completed a surgical internship followed by residency training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Rutgers University where he served as chief resident in his final year. We are pleased to announce the newest member to our Audiology team, Dr. Paige Allison Aufseeser, AuD, CCC-A.

Dr. Aufseeser comes to us after earning her undergraduate degree at Rutgers University, where she graduated with the highest honors of summa cum laude. Upon receiving her Doctorate of Audiology at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, she was inducted into the Alpha Eta Honor Society for highest academic achievement.

While completing her doctorate, Dr. Aufseeser gained clinical expertise with rotations at multiple locations, including the University of Miami Cochlear Implant Center, North Broward Medical Center, as well as a one-year audiology externship at Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City.

Within the field of audiology, her interests include vestibular testing, tinnitus, audiological assessment, and hearing aids. Dr. Aufseeser is a native New Jerseyan and is pleased to have returned to the area to join Princeton Eye & Ear and the Princeton Audiology and Hearing Aids practice. She is looking forward to serving the  community and working with her patients.

Irene Cohen, AuD, received her bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with highest honors, summa cum laude, at Touro College. She went on to earn her doctorate in Audiology at Montclair State University, where she was inducted into Alpha Epsilon Lamda for academic excellence. Dr. Cohen's interest in diagnostics led her to choose externships at large medical facilities including University Hospital, Saint Barnabas Medical Center, and JFK Johnson Medical Center.

At Princeton Eye and Ear, Dr. Cohen serves patients with varying otologic disorder through audiologic evaluations, hearing aid fittings and adjustments, and vestibular assessment and treatment. Dr. Cohen is committed to reducing the impact of hearing loss on quality of life with the use of amplification and aural rehabilitation.

Angela Moltup, AuD, CCC-A is a recent graduate of the University at Buffalo in May 2016. Some of her past clinical externships include Buffalo Hearing & Speech Center, Diversified Hearing Services, and Watertown Audiology among other rotational private practice experiences in Buffalo and Syracuse, NY. Angela received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders from Syracuse University in 2012. 

In addition to audiologic evaluation and hearing aids, her clinical focus has been tinnitus management in patients with concurrent hearing loss. Dr. Moltrup enjoys serving a diverse patient base spanning all backgrounds and many ages and she is committed to providing quality evidence-based care to her patients.
